Terms of Service

Welcome to Speed67. By using our website, web game, or mobile app (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Speed67 is a free, camera-based hand-tracking game inspired by the viral “67 challenge.” You move your hands up and down in front of your device's camera for 20 seconds, and your score is added to a public leaderboard. No account or login is required.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit display names that are offensive, hateful, harassing, infringing, deceptive, or that impersonate another person.
• Submit scores you did not legitimately earn through real gameplay (e.g. via scripts, bots, modified clients, or spoofed API requests).
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or our servers.
• Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law.

We use an automated profanity filter to reject inappropriate display names, but we may also remove names or scores at our discretion.

4. Camera & Safety

The Service requires access to your device's front camera to track your hand movements. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, recorded, or transmitted to our servers.

Gameplay involves rapid physical movement. You are responsible for playing in a safe environment with enough space, away from fragile objects, other people, and pets. Stop playing if you feel dizzy, fatigued, or any pain.

5. Leaderboard & User Content

When you submit a score, your chosen display name and score become publicly visible on the leaderboard. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that information as part of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Speed67 name, logo, design, and all software and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speed67 and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or remove access, scores, or display names at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
